The Future Looks Mighty Crunchy

The retrospective’s over; what’s next?

This is the fourth of four Snackable essays coinciding with Crunchable’s fifth anniversary.

Well, that about wraps it up: four weeks of highlights from Crunchable’s past five years. The highs and the lows; the silly, the serious, and the just plain weird.

So, where do we go from here?

For starters, we need help. New writers have always been Crunchable’s lifeblood, and we’ve had some excellent ones join us this year. (We’ve also seen the surprise return of a few old friends.) But we always need more contributors — so, all you bloggers and closeted essayists, check out our Submitable page and learn how to join us.

As for the behind-the-scenes stuff, we’re working on yet another relaunch for January. The look of the site probably won’t change too much — it’s just the Web equivalent of slapping a fresh coat of paint on everything. But we also plan to add some new functions, including a search form on our error page, a button that will format any Crunchable article for your printer, and those author profile pages we’ve been promising for almost a year now.

Check back soon! Much more crunchyness is on the way.
