Automated comment spam is a real problem for sites like Crunchable. The forces of online poker are legion — for some reason, purveyors of online pornography and low-cost prescription drugs are not quite as interested in blasting ads for their products everywhere on the blogosphere. We installed an ass-kicking automatic spam filter … that turned out to kick a little too much ass. It’s very likely that if you tried to post a comment on one of our stories, our filter insulted you and told you to go away.

We’re very sorry, and we’ve fixed it so that it should be both more discerning and congenial. If you run into problems posting comments, please let us know.
