By this point in November, I had hoped to have presented you a stunning Crunchable issue entitled “Planes, Trains, and Automobiles.” But things haven’t exactly gone according to plan.
So, instead of throwing something together at the last second and shoveling it out, I’m canceling the issue. In fact, Crunchable’s going into a bit of a hibernation for this month and the next while I sort through the brainstorming and the feedback that so many of this site’s contributors shared back in September. We may still post a Snackable here and there, and look for our “This Week in the Archives” picks to start showing up in our RSS feed, but I’m going to try to keep things simple — at least for now.
But before we go dormant, there’s one more big thing to do.
To keep this site going into 2011, we need a plan, and we need committed volunteers. To that end, I’m setting up a virtual gathering right here on the site at 8 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 21. If you want to be involved in any way with Crunchable’s future, please mark your calendars and stop by!
