Not sure if this is the same ride you’re describing as “jail cell ride”, but at my church’s carnivals, there was something similar that we called the “Salt-and-Pepper Shaker”. Good times, from what I remember.

When I was 5 my friend and I got lost in the mirror maze. Oh I’m sorry, I meant my friend left me in the mirror maze while I cried until the mirror maze attendant retrieved me. Faye you bitch!
