Nice eulogy. I never really thought of Tammy Faye as someone who endured, but clearly she was a survivor in the most admirable way. She was also a gay icon, which this story doesn’t mention.
Clearly, Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker were two of the stranger figures in religious history. I have a feeling the whole idea of “prosperity theology” will never really die though. it is just too American to go away.
