It’s really more of a plastic plug than a “cap.” And it’s not to keep the blood in, but the germs out. Sheesh. Somebody should put a bogeyman under your sister’s bed.

Beautiful writing . . . I had a much-older cousin casually mention how the boogey-man would get me when I went out in the dark. Nice . . . perhaps he was related to your sister in some way?
